Kregel has done pastors a great favor by reprinting this great classic. In Walking with the Giants, Warren Wiersbe said, “…ranks with the finest homiletical literature ever produced by any preacher of any denomination….A book every preacher ought to read once a year….” Phillips Brooks died in 1893. He was known for his eloquence and proficiency in the pulpit. This book stresses, ‘the bringing of truth through personality.’
