I demonstrate how the ideology of divine warfare from the ancient world actually structures the letter and then show how Paul crafts his message to comprehend and reinterpret through gospel lenses the first century world. My aim is to translate that to today’s world, asking, how does the gospel, as Paul articulates it in Ephesians, speak to today’s world in power? . . .
