Teens and Social Media

A January online study of more than 500 youth ages 13 to 17 conducted by Harris Interactive and commissioned by World Vision revealed:
80% of teens use social media.
44% of teens say they’ve become more aware of others’ needs as a result of social media.
34% of teens say they “friend,” “like,” or “follow” charitable causes or organizations.
