Suburban Culture

Much like their neighboring cities, the culture and faces in the suburbs are rapidly changing. CNN reports that though 78% of those living in suburban areas are white, more than half of minority groups in any given metro area are now living outside the city. This includes 51% of African-Americans, 59% of Hispanics and 62% of Asians. Overall, minorities now make up close to 35% of the total suburban population. As culture and ethnicity continue to change, consider how your suburban church can reach those of different cultures and backgrounds living in your area.
