While the term emerging church is not a new one, this book is a good introduction and overview to this movement. I was in a recent pastors meeting where there was much discussion and debate about the emerging church. I wish I had read this book before that meeting and been more aware of all the aspects of the ’emerging church’ movement and controversy.
