Children, Churches, and Sex Abuse
A new national survey by Your Church magazine and NationalChristianPoll.com shows a surprising number of churches don’t provide a child sexual abuse prevention training program for staff or volunteers who are involved in church activities and programs of the 704 church leaders who responded:
41% say no child sexual abuse prevention training program exists at their church
59% say they offer a training program of some kind to church staff, adult volunteers, and/or youth volunteers
