4 Key Principles for Parents:
- You've been given an assignment to raise godly offspring.
- The training process must be based on truth.
- The end goal of the assignment is to raise children who know Jesus Christ as Savior and think and act from a biblical worldview.
- Parents must choose able men and women who fear God, love truth and hate covetousness to help them with this assignment.
“It’s easy to tell our children that they should have Christian friends, but how do we balance this with the Lord’s command to evangelize the world? How can they win people they do not know? Wisdom and discernment are God’s way of dealing with these difficult questions.” –Charles Stanley
“(Young people)…get more information by observing those persons who are close to them. Children tend to value what they see their parents valuing. If there happens to be consistency between what the parents value and what they show, this value will become strong in the life of the child. If there is no consistency, the child will become even more confused.” –Earl Wilson
