– Max Lucado
Someone has said, “On every pew, there is a broken heart.” That being the case, it is good for ministers to preach and teach on the problem of pain and suffering. With that in mind, we would like to point out a few books that have been around a while.
Using the illustration of a blacksmith’s shop, the author states, “There are tools on the junk pile; outdated, broken, dull, rusty… There are tools on the anvil; melted down, molten hot, moldable, changeable… There are tools of usefulness; primed, defined, mobile… We are all somewhere in the blacksmith’s shop.”
