Ramsey died in 1939, but these helpful concise commentaries are a good addition to your library. Ramsay gives great insight into the ancient culture. F. F. Bruce said, “My debt to the writings of Sir William Ramsay…I am repeatedly amazed by scholars of a later date who seem unaware of the contributions of peculiar value which he made to certain areas of New Testament Study.”
