Henry Mitchell holds an M.A., M.Div., D.D., and Th.D. from various universities. His books include Black Preaching, The Recovery of Preaching, Celebration and Experience in Preaching, Soul Theology, and Preaching for Black Self-Esteem. Ella Pearson Mitchell holds an M.A., D.Min., and L.H.D. from various universities. She is the editor of those Preachin Women, Volumes I, II, and III. They co-authored Together for Good. The Mitchells lecture and preach nationwide together.
